This was very labor intensive work, but very satisfying. We have always said we like to make a difference.

It looks great! Remember when pole saws didn't have motors on them?? I hated those things, but now that they are "chain saws on a pole" I like them much better!

Are any of those trees we planted still alive?

Yes, some are still living, but sadly, many lost their life to the mower. The Mexican Olive seems to be the most prevalent. On our site there are about six various kinds still alive because we put stakes around them for their safety.
