Two New Gates for The LaComa Tract

Last week one of  our jobs was to install two ranch gates on the LaComa Tract. It seems that each gate we install is a little different and requires some engineering to accommodate the surrounding landscape. The gate above was surrounded by open flat land so we built about 75 feet of barbed wire fence to tie into the existing fence line in order to keep vehicles from driving around it. The gate below had a deep ditch on one side and heavy trees on the other, thus no additional fencing was required.

We do have a group of three small bushes nest to the tree. the only way we could protect the bushes from the mowers was to pound U-Channels in next to the Mexican Olive and the Mesquite Tree.
