We spent most of April visiting our family and friends around Austin and Dallas. It was nice to finally qualify for the America the Beautiful Senior Pass. This entitles us to 50% off at all federal facilities including US Army Corp. of Engineer Parks. During April we stayed at three very nice parks, Jim Hogg on Lake Georgetown, East Fork on Lake Lavon and Liberty Hill on Navarro Mills Lake west of Corsicana, Texas.
Next we plan to park our rig at the Escapee Rainbow Park in Livingston, Texas, for five weeks while we embark on this summer's great adventure "across the pond". We will post more on this in June, after we return.

The weather was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying a campfire and the quiet. |

One of our favorite birds,
this Scissortail flycatcher perched himself on our bike rack. |

Congratulations on reaching the magic age!! What a great perk.
We're looking forward to getting that pass ourselves.
