On a couple of different days we wondered around the beautiful ocean front town of Monterey. We visited Old Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row, Monterey Aquarium, the world famous "17-Mile Drive" around the Monterey Peninsula, and the coastal drive down Big Sur. We also enjoyed a couple of delicious meals with beautiful views of the bay.

| The free city "Trolley" operated on the weekends and everyday through the summer months. This was a great way to see the town without negotiating traffic. |

You are sure seeing some amazing scenery out west. Beautiful pictures.
It is an amazing area. We will be moving further north on Monday.
We love that area. We used to go every April for a week with family to sight see, eat and drink. Thanks for sharing the great pictures.

When we traveled those roads last, a mud slide kept us from seeing Big Sur and the Salinas Valley area...a real disappointment. We did eat shrimp at Fisherman's Wharf. Thanks for taking me back!!!
