Traveling further west we drove to the town of Tiger, Washington, and took Highway WA20 to US 395 to Flowery Trail Road. Our first stop was at a beautiful National Forest Campground in Colville National Forest for lunch. The place was deserted so we took one of the premo campsites for lunch.

I don't think we ever got up to Little Pend Oreille (a good excuse to go back!). Looks like they got a lot of snow this year. Everything is so pretty and green. How are you liking your Brig duties?
We are really enjoying working at the Brig. We work 3 1/2 days a week, Wednesday afternoon til Saturday evening. We have the other half of the week off so we can explore. The other couple who are brig hosts are very nice and we are enjoying sharing Brig duties with them. The summer weather her in North Idaho is phenominal.
My favorite volunteer was Tyson! (Kim and Dave's dog) Is he there this year?
I'm glad you are enjoying your experience. It is a beautiful area.
